Bitter Moon

Join us under the moon where the wolves run together. Offered as an alternative to standard holiday fare, Bitter Moon explores what Midwinter traditions we can reconnect to in order to reframe what this time of year could look like outside of our normal traditions. Bitter Moon invites audiences into a surreal world drawing from Midwinter traditions across the globe to follow The Wild Hunt as we move through a winter's night together. Bitter Moon takes place entirely outdoors on a nature trail of varying terrain. As we explore this new terrain of "Expeditionary Performance" in the winter we are creating a responsive threshold for snow and cold at around 20 degrees, depending on wind chill. Warm drinks will be provided at the beginning of the performance. Please come prepared with clothing that will keep you warm for the full 70 minute show. A detailed accessibility guide is available at www.controlgroupproductions/bittermoon . Bitter Moon is made in deep collaboration with Alpine Artist Collective, and is made possible by Majestic View Nature Center, SCFD, Bonfils Stanton, Colorado Creative Industries, and The Fort Fund. Please note, we do not offer refunds 7 days or less prior to performances. Thank you for your understanding.
